AYIDSA to hold year-end party in Pretoria

The Association of Yorubas in Diaspora-South Africa (AYIDSA) will be holding the end-of-year party at the Brooklyn Lodge & Conference Center, 209 Bronkhorst Street, Nieuw Muckleneuk in Pretoria on the 4th of December 2021. The scheduled event is expected to start at 12 noon with strict adherence to covid protocol observation and it will be opened by the popular juju maestro Yemite Crew.

As part of AYIDSA’s plan to rebrand Yoruba nationhood through the event, they also hope to bring the members together and to provide updates on the organization’s programs for the coming year. AYIDSA also wants to use the medium to celebrate the founding fathers of the organization.

“We intend to use the occasion to appreciate our Pioneer President Dr. Derin ALAGBE alongside our Ex-Chairman of AYIDSA Hall of paladin Prof. Fasheun, by honoring them with a Plaque in recognition of their immense contributions to the Yoruba culture and heritage in South Africa,” said Hon. Mathias Afolabi Sagbo, AYIDSA secretary-general.
