FANS ARE CONVINCED THEY’VE FOUND THE NIGERIAN BONANG MATHEBA

South African Twitter users immediately noticed a striking resemblance between Nigerian media personality, Toke Makinwa and local media personality Bonang Matheba.
Nigerian media personality, Toke Makinwa recently shared pictures of herself living it up while celebrating her birthday in South Africa.

South African Twitter users not only took notice of her pictures, but they immediately noticed a striking resemblance between her and local media personality Bonang Matheba.

From the similar styles in fashion, the long straight hair, perfect makeup, big sunglasses and huge social media following, these two powerhouses are basically the same person.

Toke is a radio personality, television host, vlogger, lifestyle entrepreneur and author. She is known for hosting The Morning Drive on Rhythm 93.7 FM, a Nigerian radio station.

She also an author and hosts YouTube vlog series Toke Moments.

At the time of publishing, Toke has over 3 million followers on Instagram.

So, in more ways than one, she and Bonang share very similar qualities. They also both have a passion for sharing their stories and using their own experiences to empower others, especially young women.

The two women also happen to be friends, and often hang out with each other from time to time.

“We’re actually good friends, she’s helped me so much and I’d like to think I’ve done the same for her. I love her,” Toke told DRUM about Bonang.

Toke has even appeared on an episode of Being Bonang, which showed just how close the two women actually are.

One tweep even had a proposal for the duo:

“@tokstarr why cant you and @bonang_m do a show called “toke and Bonang take Lagos/Johannesburg” would be good to see you Queens together and the dynamics of your beautiful friendship but more than anything demystify this shit called Xenophonia. I can produce it”
