Khalee Ali drops music video for the hit track ‘Summertime’

What begins as a bedroom stage a couple of years ago has grown into a career with infamous venues, thousands of streams, and therefore “Summertime.” the latest single from Khalee Ali’s album.

With his rap influences starting from the Legendary 2pac, Notorious BIG to the fashionable stylings of new generation rappers, Khalee Ali brings audible diversity to the table like no other with his new single, “Summertime”, His emotive ways bring the fusion to life with a wave of hip-hop.

Khalee Ali’s background

The Nigeria rap artist Moses Ikape was born 30 July 1990.

He was born and raised in a mid-sized town Benue state Makurdi to be specific.

In an interview, earlier last year, Moses Ikape stated that his passion for music started at an early age and already knew he will be a musician from first grade in primary school.

He participated in school talent shows with interest in drumming. He pursued his interest by studying drums at his local community church.

Moses is better known to his fans as Khalee Ali. He realized the importance of owning his masters and instead of signing to record labels, he remains independent. He’s a well-rounded artist and continues to push boundaries in music.

Career
Khalee Ali spent his teen years perfecting his art and finding his inner voice while attending college.
In 2013, he graduated from the Federal University Of Technology Minna Nigeria and completed his National Youth Service the following year before relocated to South Africa to pursue his music career.

Debut album: Old Ways
In early 2019, Work began on Khalee Ali’s debut album “Old Ways”. The whole project was conceptualized and produced at his new range in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The album was produced in conjunction with Nigerian Producer 8notes. This body of work promises to be a classic hip hop album with catchy flows and relatable storylines.

He recently released to ‘Summertime’ video on YouTube and it’s already enjoying airtime on music channels across the continent.
