Nigerian man killed by unknown gunmen in Johannesburg

A Nigerian man has been killed in Johannesburg after being shot by unknown gunmen, eyewitnesses say. The victim is believed to be Snoop Awka Mbanefo, a businessman from Umudioka in Awka, Anambra state in Eastern Nigeria. The deceased was declared dead at the scene of the crime by law enforcement officers in the early hours of Tuesday, September 21, 2021.

The Nigerian community leaders continue to lend their voice against the continuous killings of Nigerians in South Africa.No suspects have been arrested but the police will be investigating the crime, local officials said.

Saintpaul Nnamdi, a member of the Nigerian community shared the video clip of the deceased at the scene while the coroner was removing his body. The sensitive video may be viewed below
