The National Executive Council (NEC) of AYIDSA notified all their members and the Nigerian community in South Africa regarding the change of leadership at the hall of paladins arm of the Association of Yorubas in Diaspora, South Africa (AYIDSA).
The outgoing chairman of the hall of paladins, Professor Timothy Fasheun who is a trained Meteorologist in Applied Physics and Mathematics who has applied his knowledge in agriculture and the environment. He has also lectured and researched boundary layer and climate change science and resilience at universities and also worked as a Director/Senior Manager at the Provincial Department of Environmental Affairs in South Africa.
Professor Fasheun’s immense contributions to the organization were highly praised by the leadership and members.
The newly appointed Hall of Paladins leadership comprises Chairman Prof. Patrick Oluwole Oluboyo (Retired) – Former head of pulmonary medicine,
Walter Sisulu University while the Vice-Chairman Prof. Sunday Ojo – Retired Professor of Computer Science, TUT. He is also the current Executive Director at African Indigenous Language Technology Institute.
