YIF LAUDED AYIDSA OVER YORUBA LANGUAGE SCHOOL IN PRETORIA

The National President Worldwide of Yoruba Indigene Foundation Comrade Dr. Olumide Philip Aderibole expressed words of praise for an achievement of the Association of the Yorubas in Diaspora South Africa on the new project of Yoruba Language School in Pretoria, South Africa.

The school started on Saturday 17th March 2018 in Pretoria with the hope of expanding across South Africa. According to the leader of Worldwide Yoruba socio-cultural group, AYIDSA has taken a good step to ensure that the Yoruba Language does not go into extinction. On behalf of the Chairman, Asiwaju Olu Mayegun and all the stakeholders of YIF.

I congratulate the Leadership and entire members of AYIDSA for being the first Nigeria community association in South Africa to teach her indigenous language.

“The Yoruba class will be held every month,  it will also be the foundation for Akomolede Yoruba in Southern Africa”, the Yoruba teacher Oludare Olusan explained.
